[WAP Version 2.0]
The Wireless Application Protocol Forum has released version 2.0 of its Wap specification. The new specification include Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS). This will allow users to send messages similar to SMS messages on mobile phones but with the ability to add sounds.

While the world seems to be infected by virus contained within Microsoft products (first it was Word, then Excel, then Internet Explorer and now Outlook), it was thought that PDF files were immune from virus. Well thing again, and one has found its way into PDF files.

Well they had to win sometime, didn't they? Every 18 months or so they double their processing power, and memory capacity, but good old humans stay the same. So Gary let them win a little. Well anyway he was up against a super supercomputer who could compute a million times faster than the best human, which didn't just have one processor it had a whole array of them. And, of course, it has it's technical team with it (just in case it made a wrong move). [Video clips] I think it's amazing that humans have managed to bear computers at chess for this long. Well we'll just have to find another game that they're not so good at. Maybe one that involves running, as they're not so good at that, especially when they're plugged into the mains.

When I had a Dell I could simply access my own customized page, and download drivers, and get help for my specific notebook. Now I have to sift through the #@^% [name with-held] site and find the odd updated driver, or help manual.

[Msn.com]
One of the great sites in the world, and just keeps getting better. It's beautifully functional, has dynamic content and is informational. Unfortunately my MSN agent has been mining me for information, and knows that I live in the UK, so it kindly re-directs me to the msn.co.uk site, which I do not want. The funny thing is that Internet Explorer redirects me to the msn.co.uk site, but NetScape Navigator does not.

This is also the place to get MSN Messenger, which is one the most useful pieces of software I have ever found.

Design Studio - Forms

An annoying feature in HTML-based forms is the time that it takes to go from one option field to another. Flash reduces this problem, and integrates well with the rest of the page. Unfortunately Flash is still weak on displaying text!
