From Photograph to Flash Movie

In the previous design tip, a photograph was converted into a graphic, and then spliced and added to the page as an HTML page. An alternative approach is to integrate the graphic into a Flash movie. This can be easily achieved by exporting the graphic to a PNG file, and then importing it into Flash. In the example in Figure 1 I've imported another Flash movie and placed in on a layer below the main graphic.

The graphic I've used is from the Distributed Systems and Mobile Agents (DMSA) research group. If you're interested in studying for a PhD in the DSMA please complete the form given next [PhD application].
