[Expand] The usage of colour intrigues me, and especially when it is abstracted. I think that the abstraction part is due to my experience in designing and developing computer programs and electronic circuits, as there is normally a stage of the design process which involves abstracting the system in a diagrammatic form. Another key element in the design process is also to abstract the system in different forms of abstract, from high-level diagrams, down to low-level, detailed representations.

The colour element of my interest is something that I have not had a chance to properly investigate, but over the next few years I intend to investigate the things that work, and the things that do not. The one thing I do know is that I love vibrant colours in abstract images. So let's try a quick example.

The centre focus of the graphic is on the red abstraction of a person in the middle. The eye is then moved onto the three circular objects with the yellow circle. Of special interest are the colour contrasts between the small circular elements. The yellow background enhances these circles and provides a natural background for them.

To be completed.
