24. Setting up a Photo

In the previous graphic the following graphic was scanned:

The problem with this graphic is that there are several areas where the graphic has a similar colour to the background. It thus makes cutting out the image difficult. An improved method would have been to set the guitar against a high contrast background. For example:

The image we created from the previous image, using the air brush was:

Now when we cut it out, using the magic wand and the crop tool:

Which is an improvement on the previous graphic, especially around the fret board. When reduced we get:

150 pixels

100 pixels

70 pixels

Finally we could distort it, and add a background shadow to give:

Guitar added to networking equipment.
