Registration for Global Game Jam 2012 is now open.
In addition to registering with the local jam, every GGJ 2012 participant must have an account on globalgamejam.org and must associate that account with his or her jam site. In your profile page, select the jam site you are going to be participating in, fill out the rest of the questions and save.

Local FAQ:
- Venue - the main venue will be the School of Computing Games Lab, room B56 Merchiston Campus.
- Hardware - the Games Lab has 24 PCs and 24 Xbox 360s for development use.
- Software - we have various pieces of software available, and if necessary can install more. Visual Studio 2010, XNA Games Studio, Unity, and various other tools are available. Art based work depends on the resources required and can be discussed with the hosts directly.
- Version Control - the School of Computing has no local version control system, but the Games Lab has necessary tools installed in the form of TortoiseSVN. We recommend using Google Projects as the main version control system.
